Det er tidlig på året, men allerede nå har vi en soleklar kandidat til årets beste serie.

Grunnleggeren av Cistercienserordenen, Bernhard av Clairvaux, er blant annet kjent for følgende bevingede sitat: «Veien til helvete er brolagt med gode intensjoner.» Etter å ha sett den nye Disney+-serien Paradise føler vi trang til å modifisere sitatet en smule, til: «Veien til paradis er brolagt med gode intensjoner.» For om intensjonene visstnok er gode, og muligens også velbegrunnede, så er det til gangs noe som skurrer i pittoreske Paradise. Sin sterkeste serie Fra 2016-2022 var New Jerseys egen Dan Fogelman serieskaper for den romantiske dramaserien This is Us, deretter gikk han videre til megasuksessen Only Murders in the Bulding. Når han nå nok en gang samarbeider med Disney+/Hulu serverer han oss sin sterkeste serie så langt. Også manuset til Paradise er ført i pennen av selvsamme Fogelman, og det er…
