Sony a7C II er et utmerket reisekamera, og strålende til gatefoto, men det er ikke uten begrensninger.

Glimrende bildekvalitet med en autofokus du kan stole på i alle situasjoner. God 4K-videokvalitet. Lavoppløst søker, kun én kortplass. Trangt mellom håndgrepet og objektivet. Kraftig beskjæring av bildeflaten på høyeste videokvalitet. Sonys minste fullformatkamera er et svært godt allroundkamera. Spesielt for de som ønsker seg et kamera som er så lite og lett som mulig. Da er alternativene til a7C II, ganske få. Den mest kompetente konkurrenten kommer faktisk fra Sony selv. For det lille kameraet er basert på Sony a7 IV, og har den samme bakbelyste 33 Mp BSI CMOS fullformat bildebrikken, Sonys Bionz XR-bildeprosessor, og 10-bits 4K-videoopptak.
