Huawei FreeBuds 6i er vel den mest skamløse AirPods Pro-etterligningen så langt. Det meste er likt her. Øreproppene er godt utstyrt, med aktiv støydemping og gode lydkodeker. De fungerer sammen med appen AI Life, som finnes til både iOS og Android. Men der du finner den på vanlig vis i iOS App Store, er Huawei bannlyst fra Google Play Store. Android-brukere må i stedet google AppGallery, laste ned og installere dette, og derfra laste ned AI Life. Støydempingen er effektiv i bassområdet, minst like god som hos EarFun og kanskje enda litt bedre. Den har også mindre egenstøy når den er aktivert. Omgivelseslyd, som Huawei kaller Bevissthet eller Awareness, kommer i to varianter: enten full åpenhet som gir litt spiss diskant på alle lyder, eller Stemmemodus som fokuserer på taleområdet…
