Boombox 3 Wi-Fi tilhører den nye generasjonen bærbare høyttalere fra JBL. I likhet med den mye mindre Charge 5 Wi-Fi, kombinerer den Bluetooth med Wi-Fi 6. Som også her betyr at høyttaleren støtter AirPlay 2, Chromecast og har støtte for Alexa multirom. Den spiller også høyoppløste 24bit/96kHz lydfiler over hjemmenettverket. DOLBY ATMOS Men den kan også noe ingen andre høyttalere i denne testen kan. JBL-høyttaleren støtter nemlig Dolby Atmos, og det aktiverer man i JBL One-appen, som også kan styre høyttaleren og der kan man i tillegg gjøre enkle lydinnstillinger, som å justere bass, mellomtone og diskant. PARTYFAKTOR I wifi-utgaven har JBL også forbedret lyden med bedre elementer og et lydbilde som er åpnere, mer raffinert og rikere på klanger og nyanser.
