Sony WF-C700N har en ganske rå batteritid på 10 timer i selve øreproppene, selv om etuiet bare har én ekstra opplading og dermed tar den totale spilletiden opp til gjennomsnittlige 20 timer. Aktiv støykansellering finnes i tillegg, og aktiveres denne, blir spilletiden i stedet 7,5 timer i proppene og ditto i etuiet. Sony Headphones Connect er appen som gir tilgang til ulike lydinnstillinger og en 5-bånds grafisk EQ, som gir mulighet for å stille etter personlige preferanser. Du kan også skreddersy knappefunksjonene på proppene, for eksempel satte jeg knappen på venstre propp til å veksle mellom støykansellering og omgivelseslyd. Sony har ikke inkludert den overlegne LDAC-kodeken, men med en algoritme de kaller DSEE forsøker øreproppene å gjenvinne tapt informasjon fra komprimert lyd.
