SWIRLY TWILL COASTERS

In this project, we'll revisit a classic weaving pattern called twill. There are many variations of this pattern but for this project we'll focus on a simple variation called a 2/1 twill pattern. We'll use two contrasting yarn colors to create a swirl that starts from the center and works its way out. PROJECT DIMENSIONS: 3½ inches (9 cm) in diameter Note: If you would like to weave a larger or smaller version of this pattern, the total number of warps must be a multiple of 3 plus 1. For example, 13, 19, 25, or 46 individual warps would all work for this project.
