Beyond his success in Pro-Am, Smith consistently challenged the field, narrowly missing overall pole on his debut by just 0.017 seconds and securing a second-place finish at Knockhill, where he also swept the board with two class wins. Before joining the Porsche Carrera Cup GB team, Smith built a strong racing resume with successes on ovals in National Ministox and winning the 2022 Fiesta Junior Championship title.
His progression through Ginetta Juniors, where he placed third in the Winter Series, and his competitive performances in the GB4 Championship marked him as a rising star with several top five finishes.
Smith has already competed in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, a four-weekend, eight-race series across Iberian circuits, providing invaluable track time and preparation ahead of the UK season.
