Le Point : Comment la géolocalisation facilitet-elle la recherche domestique ? Cyril Janin : Au début des années 2000, les annonces immobilières qui étaient encore sur papier indiquaient « super appartement », « maison de charme », accroches complétées d’un unique numéro de téléphone. Le candidat à l’achat ne connaissait ni l’adresse ni la situation du bien, tout juste son code postal ! C’est Airbnb qui a inauguré le premier mode de recherche alternative, mettant côte à côte une carte interactive et la description du bien. Jusqu’alors, il fallait jongler entre Google Maps et les annonces, au fur et à mesure des informations distillées. Les choses ont bien changé.
