L’homme discret est sorti du train, dans un Paris glacial, le matin même. Auteur d’une quinzaine de polars, il s’est taillé une solide réputation dans le milieu du roman noir français, récoltant plusieurs prix prestigieux. Mais Qui après nous vivrez, son dernier roman, fait craquer les coutures du genre. Qui après nous vivrez n’est pas un roman policier, mais post-apocalyptique. Ce genre, qui imagine la survie de l’humanité après l’effondrement des sociétés, Hervé Le Corre l’affectionne depuis qu’à 12 ans, en 1967, il a visionné l’adaptation par Sidney Salkow de Je suis une légende, roman de sciencefiction publié par Richard Matheson…
