Sublime songe

Le barde de Stratford-upon-Avon n’en finit pas de nous enchanter. Le Songe d’une nuit d’été que met en scène Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, pour la réouverture du Théâtre de la Ville-Paris, après sept ans de travaux, nous transporte, une fois encore ! La magie tient ici à l’alchimie d’un texte dont la nouvelle traduction, signée François Régnault, fait ressortir la modernité, et d’une troupe exceptionnelle. Si l’idée de faire jouer Puck par trois acteurs différents, un homme (Édouard Eftimakis) et deux femmes (Ilona Astoul et Mélissa Polonie), pourra désarçonner certains, Philippe Demarle étincelle en majestueux Obéron, Valérie Dashwood impressionne en rayonnante Titania. Quant à Élodie Bouchez, elle est une déchirante Héléna… Dans un décor apocalyptique qui nous rappelle les forêts calcinées et les paysages vandalisés de notre planète malmenée, la troupe parvient…
