Jonah Susskind, ASLA, is a senior research associate at SWA based in California whose work includes developing and disseminating research on wildfire risk mitigation and urbanization. As the Los Angeles wildfires came under containment in late January, Susskind talked to LAM about the shock of the current moment and how landscape architecture approaches can build resilience in a time of advancing climate risk.
