Goeie teelmateriaal op Hencil-produksieveiling

Die duurste bul is vir R70 000 verkoop op die produksieveiling van die Hencil Bonsmara-stoetery van die Van der Merwe-familie van Barkly-Oos. Die kopers was Gideon en Gawie van Zyl, ook van dié distrik. Corli van Rooyen van Trenmore, Barkly-Oos, was die genooide verkoper. Trenmore se duurste bul is vir R65 000 aan Dirk Spaargaren van Karooveld Bonsmaras van die plaas Kingslynn, Steynsburg, verkoop. Altesame 21 uit die 24 bulle wat te koop aangebied is, is vir gemiddeld R42 200 verkoop. Al 70 dragtige koeie en verse wat aangebied is, is vir gemiddeld R14 920 verkoop. Vleissentraal het die veiling aangebied en André van Zyl was die afslaer.…
