Scott got it powdercoated in black and took the additional precaution of covering the rear grid – so once that has been clanged shut, anything stored in the back is out of the way of prying eyes. And when it’s locked, nobody can get in there in a hurry. Dark-tinted rear windows do double duty: they keep Gyp the dog out of the baking sun when he’s in the back and they add that extra bit of privacy, making anything that’s stowed temporarily across the rear seats a little more difficult to see.…
