The Autobiography era For a relatively short part of my career I was marketing manager for Land Rover Special Vehicles, arriving there after more than three years as regional business manager for the South East. Sadly, the then director and myself had ‘creative differences’ to put a rock and roll gloss on it. Most of my time at Special Vehicles was spent on relaunching the Autobiography programme. This had debuted on the Range Rover Classic but now, with the arrival of the second-generation P38, it had got a little out of hand.
