Stunning views, fantastic fords and ancient trails await John, Martin and Neil as they continue their greenlane odyssey through Wales

We’re midway through an epic greenlaning adventure from the north to the south of Wales. In the Spring issue we started by the Dee Estuary and finished in the Tanat Valley, about a third of the way down the country. And that’s where we’re starting from this time. We’re into central Wales, an area often overlooked as a greenlaning destination; but it does offer some great tracks, fabulous scenery and remote wild areas. In celebration of 30 years of the Land Rover Discovery, we’re using three of them for the full adventure. Editor Neil is in the magazine’s D3 TDV6, workshop editor Martin is in his D1 300Tdi and I’m in my D2 Td5.
