I was born and raised in Orange County, California; both of my parents are immigrants from Mexico. The household wasn’t exactly eating pizza all the time, but when we did, it would be from Pizza Hut or this small spot near the house that had the best garlic knots. And yes, there would be pineapple on that sucker! So, why not create a cocktail that’s sweet and savory like my favorite pizza—and add a bite to it!
