The River Runner, Rush Sturges’ recently released film on Scott Lindgren’s life, isn't your ordinary movie. It is not ordinary for the subject chosen; it is not the norm for the character depicted. It is not the norm for our sport, even though for us at Kayak Session, watching The River Runner was like re-reading a large part of the past 78 issues we’ve published. But it is also so much more. For the past 20 years, we've published what we think is the best of whitewater kayaking. Classics like the Stikine, landmarks like the Tsangpo, first descents worldwide….
