Garibaldi Provincial Park in Southwest British Columbia is the source of some ultra classic Whitewater sections such as the Upper Cheakamus and Mamquam Falls. The main vein heading east out of the park is a creek called the Tuwasus. With no logging roads for access and located in a non-motorized park, it's been talked about by many,yet all paddlers for the last 15 years have deemed it too much effort, leaving it unpaddled. This summer, a few locals finally decided enough was enough.
