Dream Tides

In the small town of Egmont, BC, in the unceded territory of the shíshálh Nation, lies a wave with a call all its own. As the flood tide moves through the narrows of the Sechelt Rapids, a standing tidal wave known as Skookumchuck has drawn paddlers and wave seekers for decades. The sometimes green, sometimes foaming face is as capricious as the sea itself, ever-changing yet always constant.
