The Snowy River is located in Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia. Every year, a few hundred kayakers flock to the area to enjoy the spring sunshine and icy cold snowmelt flows.The abundance of kayakers and the healthy river flows provide a prime location to hold an Extreme Race, and that's precisely what the Snowy River Extreme Race is all about. With two sections to race, an advanced Class IV and an intermediate Class III section, racers have the pleasure of choosing the difficulty of their race. Both are about 10 minutes long and are physically demanding. Racing such a long race means safety is difficult to set up.The solution? Race partners.
