Once again, the Oetz Valley was the venue for a world-class kayaking event: more than 170 athletes from 26 countries competed on the famous Wellerbrucke section of the Oetztaler Ache in the battle for the OETZ TROPHY and the European Championship title. Thanks to technical Whitewater, professional organization, and beautiful surroundings, the OETZ TROPHY attracted athletes from all corners of the world to the beautiful Tyrol. Around 550 spectators followed the race directly from the shore, and more than 10,500 others on the live stream.The qualification round showcased the strong field of athletes as tenths of a second decided victory and defeat.
