Jaime Sandoval hails from Futaleufú, Chile but is currently living in Québec, Canada, with his wife and new baby. This has provided the chance to paddle most of the classics of the province with an amazing crew but also means that Jaime has to paddle alone sometimes, being the only kayaker near his small town. Every now and then, it rains enough for the Trois-Pistoles River to have the perfect flow for the two falls that are pretty much in his backyard.
