The Salza waterfall is a lesser-known stout in the middle of Austria. Standing at 25 meters tall, this drop is only runnable when a substantial amount of rain causes the upstream dam to overflow. Due to these conditions, it has only been run twice in the last decade, first by Lukas Strobl and then followed soon after by Daniel Egger in 2014. The drop remained otherwise unrun until Autumn 2024 when Huw Butterworth wanted to make the most of the high water in Austria and headed over to the Salza, hoping to be the next to run this elusive drop.
