After a brief break during the pandemic, the Morriston Enduro is back as an official annual event, rallying paddlers to test their skills and fitness against the 500 m section of classic Scottish Class IV/IV+ pool drop whitewater. The single-day event (which may be the most demanding event in the UK!) took place on Saturday, August 10th. The race is a great way to bring together the Scottish and world paddle communities for some friendly competition, reuniting friends and providing the opportunity to meet new ones before the autumn rainy season. The event has a small family vibe with around thirty to forty paddlers and roughly thirty volunteers who come to support, operate safety, and film.
