With so much information out there on COVID and how it impacts immunity and health, it is easy to be confused and overwhelmed. With that in mind, a primer on the immune system and how it works feels essential. The good news is that we have learned a lot since the pandemic started, with many original predictions about the virus's lethality proving true. It also turns out that asymptomatic infection is a thing, and that many more people have been exposed and infected than we previously thought! WHY IS THIS GOOD NEWS? Because it means that the virus is a lot less deadly than we initially thought!
