HOT TIPS FOR BIG WATER Kayaking in big volume can be tricky – the water can easily push you around and the line you pictured yourself running can quickly fade away into braces, rolls and missed ferries. After a few weeks on the Rio Futaleufu, Chile, I have realized that three factors help me a lot in big water: A refined and constant change of body positioning, staying with the stroke, and not pulling the forward stroke too far back.
