NEWS AND HAPPENINGS 2015 EASTER CORSICA KAYAK SESSIONS Big crowds once again gathered on the Isle of Beauty for the Easter Corsica Kayak Sessions. As usual many nationalities were present, though paddlers from Nepal and India made the mix even more diverse this year. Camaraderie was the word of the week as by day paddlers fanned out across the island to make the best of low water conditions. By night, beer and homemade grappa were passed around in plenty. A new addition to the week this year was the Josef Haas Memorial Race, held on the Tavignano River. Paddlers started at camp and floated down, searching along the way for Easter rubber ducks that had been hidden by the dedicated, and hungover, organizational team.Whoever collected the most ducks won their…
