Each year, paddlers from across the world travel to Zambia to take on one of the most iconic rivers on the planet: the Zambezi. Known for its challenging rapids, breathtaking landscapes, and the chance to spot wildlife in its natural habitat, it’s the perfect playground for whitewater kayakers. Whether you’re there to test your skills or simply to experience the river’s beauty, the Zambezi will for sure leave you with unforgettable memories. This year, the river also became the arena for the Big Balls Race. On January 2nd, teams of three were each assigned a yoga ball and tasked with getting it down the river as fast as possible between Rapids 11 and 14.
