After four years of dry seasons, the return of snow to the Alps has brought life back to the rivers of Valsesia. The abundantly flowing water created the perfect conditions for the 2024 Valsesia River Festival, organized by renowned kayaking school Gene17. This year, Gene17 decided to make the event bigger and more inclusive by involving Alpin Rider Center (Mollia) and Riversoul (Scopa), the two primary kayak schools in the area. The event, held on May 24th, kicked off the evening of Friday the 23rd with a trial run on the ‘Alpin Sprint’ race course, followed by an aperitif at Alpin Rider Center.
