This year, the organization of the annual event formerly known as Neilson Race was passed to a new generation, led by the dynamic members of the group “The Young Dawgz,” including Raphael St-Pierre and Andrew Oxley. Renamed NeilsonFest, this event promises fresh energy and a celebration of competitive spirit and the river's natural beauty. From May 17th-20th, 2024, at the picturesque ZEC Batiscan-Neilson in the Portneuf region, along the renowned Neilson River, NeilsonFest unfolded. This extended weekend was dedicated to myriad outdoor activities—kayaking, biking, motocross, ATV riding, fishing, and camping, with Sunday's race as the main event. Participants converged on the ZEC throughout the weekend, many arriving Friday to maximize their experience.
