From June 27th to 28th 2024, kayakers from all over the world gathered once again in the beautiful valleys of Voss, Norway, for the Extreme Kayak World Championships. Due to heavy flooding last summer, the championships were not able to be held at Oetz Trophy as planned. Ekstremsportveko was happy to step in, returning the event to the rivers of the Raundalen Valley after a two-year hiatus. 122 athletes from 22 nations, ranging in age from 14 to 48, gathered in the beautiful Raundalen Valley for the qualification races. Under a blazing Voss sun, spectators along the banks of Raundalselva cooled down in the water while watching the kayakers fighting for their spot in the quarterfinals.
