On build up to Nottingham Worlds (KS82), we shared insight into the preparation phases of competition. Now, we are going deeper into preparing a competitive strategy based on the rules. After seven years, we return to a wave-boating worlds this October. While freestyle has progressed so much in hole boating through ICF and non-ICF events, wave boating primarily progressed with non-ICF events like Unleashed or Ottawa XL. Soon, we get to see that progress and skill adapt to the ICF format this fall in Columbus! KNOW THE RULES Some paddlers might not be the best, most skilled athletes, but they are great competitors.
