In a country dominated by slalom, a dedicated community of freestyle kayakers is inspiring the next generation and creating opportunities for up-andcoming paddlers. One emerging talent is Archie Gill, the current and two-time Australian Freestyle Junior Champion. Passionate about whitewater, freestyle kayaking, and the community, Archie has aspired to compete on the world stage his entire life. After missing out on the first two World Championships due to factors outside his control, Archie's last hope to compete in a Junior Worlds was Columbus 2023.
