I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by so many incredible kayakers in all aspects, many of who would give me advice. Or, I would get to see things that affected how I am on the water today. When I was younger, one common theme was that whoever was in charge of me on whatever trip or river we were on, whether it was my Dad or someone else, wouldn't hesitate to call something out that I needed to be doing, or shouldn't do.
