You might also have heard of the Saalach in Lofer or the Brandenburger Ache near Kramsach, but unless you live in central Europe, chances are high that you have never heard of the Enns River, nor the names of its vast drainages running through the scenic backdrop of Gesäuse National Park. But, if you are lucky enough to visit when it rains or the snowmelt is in effect, you will be able to paddle dozens of rivers within a two-to-three-hour driving radius.
