The Team at Kayak Session

The ICF Freestyle World Championships just took place in Sort, Spain, returning to the small town in the Pyrenees Mountains for the first time since 2001. For us at Kayak Session, it is a very special place and an occasion to celebrate. It is where we launched 18 years ago. When we presented the very first issue of Kayak Session Magazine next to the river in Sort, little did we know that we would be here 18 years later. Our goal, our vision was to produce a quality whitewater magazine. As readers turned the pages of Issue #0, presented to the public for the first time in that Catalunyan mountain resort, there was the thrill of finally seeing whitewater portrayed the way it deserves to be.
