A TASTE OF IRAN THE SEZAR RIVER

Located between the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Iman and the Caspian Sea, Iran’s nearly 1.7 million km2 are home to a colorful and complex civilization that was once the center of the modern world. Inside its borders, rugged, mountainous rims enclose high reaching valleys and broad water basins. Enticed by stories of friendly locals and the latent potential of the Zagros Mountains range catchment in Iran’s northwestern corner, David Sodomka and Martin Bouzek decided to taste promise of Persian waters themselves.

“ONCE WE LEFT THE TOURIST TRACK, WE DID NOT SEE A SINGLE SIGN WRITTEN IN ENGLISH, AND NO ONE SPOKE A WORD IN ENGLISH FOR THE ENTIRE SIX-HOUR JOURNEY.
