Kayaker, explorer, expedition paddler, and photographer: 32-year old Erik Boomer can do it all. There seems to be no limit to what this self-proclaimed “normal guy” can achieve if he sets his mind to it. From multiple arctic expeditions, dog sledding, sea-kayaking, whitewater endurance runs, first descents, and fighting off a walrus, little seems to phase the man many refer to as the original honey badger. KS: Roughly a year ago, you were walking out of an incredible adventure. Can you tell us more about how the Twin Galaxies project was born?
EB: The Twin Galaxies expedition was in the incubator for a long time and took all of our input (Sarah McNair-Landry, Ben Stookesberry, and myself) and energy to be born and actually happen.
