INTERVIEW EGOR VOSKOBOYNIKOV

From a kayak made of aluminum pipes and truck tarps to extreme racing around the world, whitewater kayaking is an integral part of Egor Voskoboynikov’s life. With top ten finishes at many of the world’s biggest extreme races including the NFC, Sickline, King of the Alps and the Alseseca Race, Egor is earning his spot in the ranks of the best. From the gritty pioneering roots of Russian whitewater kayaking during the Soviet era, to his own roots in slalom racing and his later shift to expedition paddling, guiding and extreme racing, Egor gives the full picture of kayaking throughout the former USSR.
