Oosshh is a new app created specifically for paddlers. It lets you track your speed and distance on the water, share your sessions with friends around the world and has a one-touch emergency text alert system to send a distress call with GPS coordinates. It is the app for paddlers and founders/designers Ben Dooley, Ray Sweetlove and Nigel Graham tell us why.

Why Oosshh? What does it stand for? We came up with the idea for Oosshh before we had decided on a name but we knew we wanted to call it something different. A name that people would use to describe what they did; a name that could become part of a paddler’s descriptive dictionary. ‘Oosshh’ is the sound you make when you push yourself in the water, the sound you make when you drop off a waterfall, when you make that tackle in polo, or when you push over that finish line in a race.
