16-year old Hugo Anthony is the current Junior World Freestyle Champion, hailing from Northwest London. This year at the Freestyle World Championships, he stepped up to the plate and beat out USA favorite Alec Voorhees (featured in New Wave KS issue 51). Hugo consistently threw down good rides and put together some impressive tricks to claim the title. I caught up with Hugo in between study sessions for finals at Merchant Taylors high school in the UK. Congrats on taking the junior men’s title at the recent World Championships on the Ottawa.
