Since my last column, I found myself engaged in a battle. Though I’m usually very opinionated, fighting isn’t really my thing. Thankfully it wasn’t a real fight but a rap battle. Rush Sturges vs Big Man. Vegans vs Meat Eaters. I’m still not too sure how I got involved into all of this…and I’m not a rap specialist, but “Nouria” doesn’t quite rhyme with “orange”… I grew up eating everything. Whether it was at home, at school, or at the kayak club, we were eating what was on our plates, or we went hungry. It is a mentality I retain today. Thereby, my chances to become vegan are as low as seeing me enjoying a UFC match. It’s cultural. Regardless, I always love a good debate. As veganism is spreading…
