It’s late April near rural Forestville in northern Québec, Canada. Snow still blankets the forest floor. Bare trees and grey skies make the cold northern air feel extra sharp. The land is quiet and calm. A faint rumble in the distance gets closer and louder. Wildlife scatters as a convoy of dirty cars and trucks fly down the logging road, spitting up gravel. Within seconds of stopping, half a dozen guys pour from the cars and charge down a hidden roadside trail.
