FEELING SMALL IN BIG PLACES

In this column, Priscilla reflects on the rewards of paddling in the remote landscapes of National Parks.

National Parks often overwhelm visitors with their impressive landscapes. It is hard to accurately describe the effect that such an extraordinary setting can have, for it is different for each person. For my partner, Jacob, and myself, paddling in a national park away from the well-traveled trail enables us to experience the landscapes of the park in an entirely different way and gives us a new perspective to bring back to our daily lives.
