Their home base is a massive island-shaped ship (called Shipshape Island, natch) and you can use the big ol’ boat’s cannon to shoot the moustachioed men over to shore! Exploring and puzzle solving is about working together as a team, whether the portly plumbers are Voltron-ing together to fly over lava, or Luigi is moving platforms while Mario jumps between them. This double dose of dynamism is at its best in battles, as you can help each hero leap over any incoming attacks or bop the enemies back with a hammer. The team up attacks are deffo our favourite.
