HOW TO BE A STARGAZER FROM YOUR OWN BACKYARD!

STEP 1: GET A MAP OF THE SKY You can score a map of the night sky with a free planetarium app, like Stellarium Mobile. Always ask a parent or guardian before you download an app! The map will tell you which constellations are above, and the position of the planets. STEP 2: WAIT FOR A COLD NIGHT A cold night is the perfect time to stargaze, because the skies are usually much clearer. Just remember to keep warm! Pop on a puffer jacket, long pants, a beanie, and a scarf before stepping out.
