K-Z: Hi Campbell! How did you start climbing? C: I started in 2006, when I was eight or nine. I saw climbing in movies and games and thought it would be a cool hobby. Climbing as a sport was different to how I saw it on TV, but I fell in love with it fast! K-Z: How have you been training for Paris? C: Mostly my preparation is climbing on the wall, but I do other types of training, like lifting weights in the gym. I’ve been travelling to climb in other countries too, for experience on different styles of climbing. K-Z: What surprises people about your sport? C: It isn’t about speed!
