K-Z: Hi Rachael! When did you start competing in breaking? R: In 2012! I was so nervous, I had a plan but forgot as soon as I stepped out! K-Z: How did it feel when you qualified for Paris? R: I felt a wave of relief. There had been a big build up and I trained so hard. When I realised I was going to Paris, I got so excited and pumped. K-Z: How have you been training to prepare? R: Strength and conditioning three times a week, then six to eight breaking sessions a week to train moves, combinations, or full rounds to be fit and able to respond to any music.
