School Union 76 superintendent applications deadline closed

In a meeting that covered a variety of topics, the CSD 13 School Board welcomed their newest member, Jessica Lynne Witham, who was elected on March 3. Residents also reelected incumbent Darian Gove.
Co-Chair Genevieve McDonald opened the meeting by welcoming Witham to the board and welcoming Gove back for her second term.
"I want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Jane Osborne for her nine years of service on the school board," McDonald said. Osborne did not seek reelection.
The board moved into officer elections, McDonald and Chelsea Torrey will once again share the role of chair and expressed that their skills are complimentary in a beneficial way.
"I would ask for continued support from our fellow board members," McDonald said.
Darrell Willams was nominated by Torrey to continue as vice chair. Finally, McDonald nominated Witham for treasurer. All motions passed unanimously. Witham will also serve as the board liaison to the Standing Finance Committee.

"You guys will be the first to be informed," he said to the board.
