Siobhán McSweeney hosts the grand final of the crafting competition…

In a tense 10th week at Staffordshire’s Gladstone Pottery, judges Keith Brymer Jones and Rich Miller task the remaining potters with making statement Greek amphorae (two-handled, narrow-necked storage jars). And host Siobhán McSweeney was excited to see what the finalists would come up with… “We got three completely different approaches,” says the Amandaland star. “It’s a really remarkable final because it remains quite even-Stevens – but I really feel we have a worthy winner.” While there can only be one victor, Siobhán is proud that the final was a celebration for all… “We had so many people in the courtyard – all the other potters, friends and family,” she enthuses. “Everybody had a sausage roll or some hot chocolate. It was that community spirit that’s there throughout the whole thing…”…
